Jambo Sandra,
Welcome back to planDisney! I know you recently chatted with my pal
Shonette about character dining! I know she gave you some incredible recommendations and pointed you in the right direction for more. Speaking of character dining, your question made me think of one of my favorites,
Tusker House at Animal Kingdom. The food is incredible, and I love seeing Mickey Mouse and pals in their safari gear.
On that note, let's chat about the
Starlight Safari. As you alluded to, you may know that your booking window for Starlight Safari (Enchanting Extras and advanced dining reservations) is 60 days before your visit. Reservations typically open up as early as 5:45 am EST, but this can vary slightly. I've also seen reservations start opening up around 6:00 am EST. When booking reservations, I set my alarm for 5:40 am, refresh my webpage or app at 5:45 am, and then check back at 6 am if nothing pops up.
I hope this was helpful, Sandra. One last thing before you go! Are you staying at one of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels? If so, did you know that once your booking window opens for the first day of your vacation, you can also book your reservations for the entire length of your stay (up to 10 nights)? This is a great perk because it gives you flexibility with your reservations, eliminating the need to set an alarm every morning to meet each day's schedule. I hope you have a magical trip and don't forget to grab a Zebra Dome at Animal Kingdom Lodge (they sometimes sell them in the gift shops)! Please come back if we can help you with anything else!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
