What time of day does mousekeeping typically clean rooms at the Contemporary resort?

Hi, Stephanie! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am so excited for you to stay at Disney’s Contemporary Resort! What I love most about this Disney Resort hotel is that the Resort Monorail runs RIGHT THROUGH the building! It also allows for a quick walk over to Magic Kingdom Park and a great view of the Happily Ever After fireworks show from the observation deck (or your own room if you happen to have a Theme Park View)! Having stayed there just a few months ago I want to let you know that it has become my favorite Disney Resort hotel! One memory my kids still talk about is that after a thunderstorm, we went to the pool but it was still closed to be cleaned of debris. We waited about 10 minutes and my kids were getting a little antsy. Finally, a lifeguard came over and asked my kids if they wanted to help her open the pool! She blew her whistle and my kids got to announce to the world that “THE POOL IS NOW OPEN”. These are the small yet magical moments that keep my family coming back to stay at Disney Resort hotels.

We found that housekeeping didn’t really have a set time, but I once called because they hadn’t yet visited and it was already around 1 pm. They asked me if I wanted to schedule an “early cleaning” for the rest of my visit, which I never knew about. Basically, they had it on file that I preferred to have my room cleaned in the morning as we often returned to our room for an afternoon nap. I suggest speaking to the front desk about this option if it is something that you might be interested in!

I am sure your family will love this Disney Resort hotel just as much as mine did! See you again real soon,

    Jen
