Ahoy again Stacey –
We are glad to have you back with us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The
Atlantis Aquaventure has been on my mind lately. In fact, my 6-year-old pirate cub asked me a couple of days ago if he could go back to that “place in the Bahamas with all the fun slides.” The Aquaventure is a guest favorite, so I strongly advise you to book your excursion ahead of time to ensure that your family snags a spot.
Every now and then, it may fill up due to high demand, and admission can be purchased directly from the Atlantis Resort ahead of time if desired. I do not recommend doing this as a first time cruiser because you will need to take a taxi and set that up on your own.
Whether or not to do a full or half day usually depends on the schedule of the ship – some cruises will only have a half day available while others will have the full day. Regardless of how long you stay, there is always continuous bus service back to the ship if your young pirates get too tired from all of the partying in the water. There is plenty to see at
The Dig, a beautiful aquarium inside the resort, and along with the fabulous family fun water park, you will not want to leave.
Stacey, thanks for coming back to “sea” us and know that we will be here if you need more help!
