What time to the cruise line buses begin to run from the resorts? Can my family get an early bus to the port?

    Welcome Aboard, Kimberly!

I'm happy to hear you're planning to use Disney Cruise Line's ground transportation services to take you from your Walt Disney World Resort hotel to Port Canaveral. It's really the most seamless transition from land to sea! The comfortable Disney motorcoaches will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the port, all the while entertaining you with videos about your fun cruise vacation to come!

Departure times for the DCL motorcoaches will vary, depending on the number of cruisers leaving from each resort. You can expect your bus to possibly make a few stops to pick up guests from other resorts. No worries, the stops are quick and organized because everyone is eager to set sail! On a recent Land and Sea vacation, our motorcoach arrived around 10:45, and we were at the terminal by noon. Most guests arriving via Disney buses get to the port by around 1 - 1:30pm at the latest.

If you'd like to arrive earlier to the port, you have the option to check into using a car or van service, such as Happy Limo. They offer resort pick-up, and can also provide post-cruise transportation as well. Round-trip service will cost around $250. You could also take a taxi to the port which will cost around $200.

I hope this helps with your planning. Please let us know if we can help answer any other questions for you before you set sail! - Diane W.
