    What time does CP typically open? I believe it opens before MK does. Just wanting a good time space to get in and have breakfast before crowd lets in. Excellent panel!

    Thanks for coming to the Moms Panel with your Disney vacation planning questions! I hope you have found us useful.

    Please keep in mind that operating hours are always subject to change, but the Crystal Palace usually opens at 8:00 am. The Magic Kingdom opens at 9:00 am on most days so an early character meal at the Crystal Palace is a wonderful way to get a jump start on your day. When you book one of the earliest seatings at 8:00, you will be seated quickly without having to wait for an available table. You should also be able to enjoy the great food on the buffet and meet all of the characters with time to spare before the park opens for the day.

    To make the most of this early breakfast seating, you'll want to make sure that you don't schedule it on a day when the Magic Kingdom has morning extra magic hours. On these days the park opens at 8:00 and so does the Crystal Palace. Make sure your ADRs are on a non extra magic hour day and be sure to have your camera ready for some great shots on Main Street before checking in!
