What time is check in? Can you check in early?

Hello Debra, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question.

I love getting an early start to my Disney vacation, especially on the day I arrive. Guests of Walt Disney World Resort Hotels can begin the online check-in process up to 60 days in advance online or with the My Disney Experience mobile app.

Check-in time for Disney Resort Hotels is not guaranteed until 3:00 p.m. and for guests of Disney Deluxe Resort Villas is 4:00 p.m. However, if you are arriving early, you can check-in at your resort's Front Desk and let them know you have arrived and leave any bags with Bell Services. You are then free to begin your day at the destination of your choice. When your room is ready, you will receive a text notification with your room number. Your MagicBands will unlock the door to your Resort Hotel room. If you are using Disney’s Magical Express, your checked luggage will be delivered to your room.

Please note that if you have a Disney Dining Plan, you will need to check-in at your resort or online to activate it, before heading out to the parks. I hope that helps with your planning. If you have any more questions before you arrive, please come back and visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
