Hi, what time does the campfire at Fort Wilderness start in May? Is there a schedule of events and how would we get there from POR? Thank you for your help!

    Hi Kristin!

Chip and Dale's Campfire Sing-a-long is one of my favorite activities to do at Walt Disney World!  It's such a good time and I love the character interaction.  During the spring into summer, the campfire starts at 8pm.  You can head on over to the Chuckwagon Snack Bar to purchase a 'smores kit to roast marshmallows by the fire and sing along with the cowboy.  Shortly into the campfire, Chip and Dale come out for a little dance party and then will make their way around to take pictures with everyone.  After the campfire, a movie under the stars will play.  It's too early to say what movies will be playing in May, but they are all full length feature movies.  You can check out this site at the beginning of May for the schedule: http://www.buildabettermousetrip.com/activity-outdoormovie.php#fort

After the campfire, head over to the marina and grab a seat to watch the Electric Water Pageant that cruises by nightly.  It stops in front of Fort Wilderness at 9:45pm.  It's a fun show with music and animated creatures that are all lit up on the water.

The easiest way to get to Fort Wilderness from Port Orleans is to take a bus to the Magic Kingdom and then take a ferry boat to the Fort.

    Have a magical day!
