Hello Valerie, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with an excellent question about
Walt Disney World Bus Transportation.
If you are anything like me and my family, we love to close a theme park down. There is nothing like being the last one to leave the Magic Kingdom because you were taking lots of selfies on the streets of Main Street U.S.A. There is also nothing like getting the last ride on Avatar - Flight of Passage and enjoying Pandora at night. However, all good things must come to an end. If you are a guest at a Disney Resort Hotel, sooner or later, you will need to get back “home” for the evening.
Buses will run, depending on where you are coming from. If you are departing from a theme park, buses will provide service up to 2 hours after a park’s closing. Remember, some parks will close at different times of the evening. Consult a Times Guide or see a Cast Member for any changes or updates to a park's operating hours for the day. If you are leaving Disney Springs after a night of shopping, dining or even a movie, returning bus service to your resort will continue until 2:00 a.m. Keep in mind that transportation schedules are subject to change, and you should confirm with a Cast Member if you have questions.
If you find yourself in need of a ride from a theme park, and bus service has ended, you can always take a Minnie Van or taxi back to your resort.
Minnie Van Service is now available to all guests of the Walt Disney World Resort, through the Lyft app, for the one-way fee of $25. Please note that Minnie Van service ends at 12:30 a.m. with hours of operation subject to change. I hope that answers your question. If you need any more assistance in the future, please come back and visit us again.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
