    What time does the buses start running? Trying to make breakfast reservations at Chef Mickey before the Parks open. Thanks!

    Hi Ashton!

    In general, the buses start running about an hour before a theme park opens.  However, during the busier times of the year, Disney does run a separate Character Dining bus that starts running earlier to take guests to a theme park for an early morning breakfast.  However, since Chef Mickey's is at the Contemporary and not in a theme park, you need to budget more time.  Chef Mickey's is about a 10 to 15 minute walk from the Magic Kingdom depending on how fast you walk.

    The easiest way to get to Chef Mickey's is to use a taxi, assuming you are not staying in a Magic Kingdom monorail resort.  That will be especially true for an early morning reservation.  I have found taxis to be a simple and relatively inexpensive way to get around Walt Disney World.
