Does the time of booking lightning lanes change when the clocks go forward in Florida to DST, or does it stay at EST?

Welcome to planDisney, Abi! Thanks for bringing us this question.

It looks like you’ll be visiting the Vacation Kingdom of the World shortly. How exciting! Let’s track down the information you need to book those Lightning Lane passes on time, and have a wonderfully magical vacation.

I double checked the language, and Lightning Lanes can be purchased 3 or 7 days in advance of your visit (depending on your eligibility) at 7:00 AM Eastern Time. It does not mention daylight saving time or standard time. That means that the booking start time remains 7:00 AM Eastern Time, even after a time change.

You can find all the details on purchasing Lightning Lane passes, as well as a list of eligible experiences (subject to availability and change), here

You’ve picked a great time to visit Walt Disney World. The EPCOT International Flower and Garden will be in full swing by the time you arrive, and you won’t want to miss everything this fun seasonal event has to offer. You can find all the details on the Disney Parks Blog, including the always helpful Foodie Guide. There are a ton of tempting treats, but the Orange Cream Milkshake at Sunshine Seasons and Cinnamon Beignets from the Citrus Blossom look especially delicious.

I hope purchasing your Lightning Lane passes goes smoothly, Abi. Pop right back if you have any other questions. Your planDisney pals are here to help!

    Magical travels!
