Hi Lindsey, thank you for reaching out to planDisney with your question!
You are correct. Currently,
advanced dining reservations can be made at approximately 6:00 am EST for new reservations available at the 60-day mark. Personally, I start looking about a minute before the window opens so I can try to catch a reservation for the more popular restaurants as soon as they become available. If you don't see the reservation you are looking for right at the 6:00 am EST (5:00 am CT) mark, refresh your search a few times as I've noticed it sometimes takes a few minutes for the reservations to load into the system. If for some reason you are not able to secure a reservation at your desired dining location, you can always try the
Mobile Dine Walk-Up Availability service located in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App at restaurants that participate in this service.
In case you didn't know, guests staying at a
Disney Resort Hotel can make advance dining reservations for up to 10 days at the 60-day mark. You will want to take advantage of this at your 60-day mark if you are eligible to do so.
On my most recent Walt Disney World vacation, I was able to secure an advanced dining reservation for the very popular
Space 220 Restaurant located in EPCOT and the newly opened
Roundup Rodeo BBQ located in Disney's Hollywood Studios. I enjoyed both of these restaurants tremendously so if you are looking for a recommendation, you may want to give one of these a try.
I wish you luck with obtaining all your desired dining reservations. Sending pixie dust your way!
Diane
