What time do the boats start transporting people from POR to Dowtown Disney in the morning? Thanks!

    Hi there, Kristin!

The Sassagoula River Cruise from Port Orleans Riverside begins running at 10am daily.

The service, which links Port Orleans Riverside, Port Orleans French Quarter, and Downtown Disney, runs approximately every 20 minutes until 4:30pm, and then every 10 minutes until 11pm.

When the boats have ceased operations, you can use the Disney bus service, which runs nightly until approximately 2:00 AM.

Please allow approximately half an hour for the trip; figure five minutes between Riverside and French Quarter, and 15-20 to Downtown Disney. This does not factor in time to load and unload passengers. Additionally. the boats are very popular, and lots of Guests take advantage of this service, particularly in late afternoon. You'll want to add in some extra time for those variables.

    Have a wonderful time!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
