Hiya Heather, welcome to planDisney!
While your neighbors are dodging snowflakes this winter, you'll be heading to Walt Disney World Resort! If at any point you find yourself missing the fluffy white stuff, be sure to stop by and see Elsa at
For the First Time in Forever: a Frozen Sing-Along Celebration at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
All Guests can make advance reservations for dining
online 60 days in advance. Guests staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel can book for their entire length of stay 60 days before check-in. A new day of reservations is said to release at
approximately 5:45 a.m. EST. In my experience, reservations typically open up by 6:00 a.m. EST.
To maximize availability on your Disney dining day, Heather, I recommend being logged into your My Disney Experience account by 5:45 a.m. If booking for one day, have tabs for Plan A, B, and C restaurants open, just in case. If booking for a longer length of stay, prioritize your reservations by popularity,
not by calendar date. Popular dining experiences such as character dining fill up quickly and it's best to try for those first, ideally towards the end of your vacation.
While I've got your attention, I have to share my absolute favorite entrée in all of Walt Disney World Resort - the Stack Burger on
Steakhouse 71's lunch menu. Disney's Contemporary Resort is a convenient 10-minute walk from the entrance of Magic Kingdom Park, which is the ideal location for a delicious mid-day park break.
Thanks for being our guest today, Heather. Just let us know if planDisney can serve up any other trip-planning tips.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
