What time can I begin making dining reservations, my 60 day window is March 28? I’m in Central standard time(CST).

Hiya! Welcome to planDisney, Melanie! We’re so glad you’re here!

Melanie, I can’t even tell you how much time I spend daydreaming about the incredible food at Walt Disney World Resort, but it’s definitely an unhealthy amount! From the moment I book my next visit, there is always one thing I am most excited about, and you can probably guess what it is - the FOOD! From the out-of-this-world culinary creations at Space 220 Restaurant to the incredible breakfast menus at spots like Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera, there is always something calling me and my taste buds back for more!

So, Melanie, you’re so smart to want to be ready to make those Advanced Dining Reservations for your upcoming vacation. You can start making your Advanced Dining Reservations 60 days in advance, beginning at 6:00 a.m. Mickey Standard Time (AKA EST) on the dot. So, in your case, you would want to be logged into your My Disney Experience account at 5:00 a.m. CST to be ready to go. I know it’s super early, but I would also recommend logging in about 15 minutes earlier just to be sure everything is working properly.

Now, some spots are super popular and could possibly be all booked up when you log in to make your reservations. But, don’t lose faith, Melanie! One of my all-time top planning tips is to keep a super close eye on your My Disney Experience app in the days leading up to your vacation. There is a $10 charge per Guest for any reservation cancellation done with less than 24 hours notice (though the cancellation fee is subject to change). So, with Guests' plans changing all the time, you will see that many dining times pop up in the days and weeks leading up to your visit as cancellations come through. I always like to check the app about 2-3 times per day and have had a lot of luck securing some of those most coveted reservations. This is especially common in the few days before my arrival, so just be persistent, wish upon a star for some extra luck, and you’ll be on your way to enjoying the food you have been craving!

Just thinking about all the incredible meals you'll enjoy on your upcoming vacation makes me feel a little rumbly in my tumbly, just like Winnie-the-Pooh! I'm just so excited for you to book those Advanced Dining Reservations! If you’d like to hear more of our recommendations, please feel free to visit us again here at planDisney!

    Bon Appétit,
