    How much time it will take to get back to the Contemporary if we take a bus from Downtown Disney? We plan to do some shopping in the day but need to get back for dinner reservations. Do you know the number of bus stops from DD to Contemporary? Route? TY.

    Howdy Stacey! This is an excellent question.

    I have always been told by the Cast Members to allow yourself at least one hour to get from one destination to another when travelling through the Walt Disney World Resort. 

    There are many variables that the transportation team at Walt Disney World looks at when planning the routes.  What is true today may change tomorrow based on crowd levels and other factors so I am hesitant to guess about the route or stops.

    If you lose track of time while enjoying Downtown Disney, you can take a cab back to the Contemporary.  What you spend on the cab ride you will more than make up for with the peace of mind of knowing you will make it to your dinner reservation on time.
