What time does the average person finish the entire disembarkation process? I'm trying to plan the flight back home.

    Hi there, Ahmed!

Ahoy and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I am so excited to hEAR that you have a Disney Cruise Line vacation planned!  While I love any Disney Cruise Line vacation, the holiday-themed itineraries are really special!  The added décor, holiday-themed activities and the giant gingerbread house in the atrium will really get you in the holiday spirit!

Disembarkation day is always the most bittersweet day for me!  While I am usually ready to bet back to a routine at home with my boys, it’s never fun when a vacation is over!  Hopefully you’ll take advantage of the onboard specials and book another Disney Cruise Line vacation while onboard so you can say “See Ya Real Soon!” making your departure a little easier!  Assuming no delays, disembarkation typically begins around 8:00AM and all Guests are asked to be off the ship by 9:30AM so that the incredible Cast Members can begin turning the ship over for Guests arriving later that day!  Once you disembark, you will need to gather your luggage from the cruise terminal and go through Customs and Immigration before departing.  Disney Cruise Line asks that Guests not make departing airline reservations before 11:30AM on disembarkation day to ensure enough time to get off the ship and to the airport for your flight.

Hopefully this information help guides you in making your departure flight arrangements.  Be sure that when you complete Online Check-In (75 days prior to embarkation for first-time Guests) you have your flight information handy as they will ask you to provide that when completing the check-in process.  Providing this information will help Disney Cruise Line determine which group you disembark with ensuring that you make your prearranged flight.  Also, if you plan to use Disney Cruise Line's ground transfers to get you to the airport, make sure these are booked at least three days prior to your voyage.

As you continue planning, please stop back by with any other questions you have about your Disney Cruise Line vacation!  We are more than happy to help make it the most magical and memorable adventure ever!
