I am excited you plan to build a
Savi's Workshop Handbuilt Lightsaber at
Disney's Hollywood Studios in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge! I had the opportunity to construct a Lightsaber at Savi's Workshop with my son and his wife on my Disney vacation in November 2021, and I can tell you firsthand that it was amazing! It was a Star Wars religious experience!
You can check the availability by going to the Savi's Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers at the Walt Disney World Resort webpage and pressing the
Check Availability Button. Then you select the date you are interested in building a Lightsaber to see if there are any openings for that particular day. If there are openings, you can choose from 20-minute time slots. If you do not see any openings on the selected day, you can look for a date range to see availability. I recommend searching for other dates during your Walt Disney World vacation to see if there is availability on another date. You also can stop by Savi's Workshop on August 6th, 2022, to see if there might be any walk-up reservations for that day (walk-up reservations are not guaranteed to be available every day, but it is worth a try). I recommend going right to Savi's Workshop as soon as Disney's Hollywood Studios opens in the morning to increase your chance of securing a walk-up reservation if they are available on that day. Remember that you will need a
Theme Park Reservation for Disney's Hollywood Studios on the day of your Savi's Workshop reservation.
