Hi Trudy! Thanks so much for visiting with the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Crowds are usually lower during the morning hours at all of the Disney theme parks. If you are driving to the theme parks, I would suggest arriving at least 45-60 minutes before the park of your choice opens. In the past, some of the theme parks open a little before the scheduled
park hours posted. This gives guests the opportunity to start the magic a bit early.
By arriving at the theme park early, this gives you enough time to park and make your way to the entrance of the theme park. For example, the Magic Kingdom has a welcome show that begins before the park officially opens. Guests can enter the
Magic Kingdom as early as an hour before the park officially opens and enjoy the welcome show before the park opens.
If you are staying off property, remember to check the theme park hours. If
Extra Magic Hours are being offered, off property guests won't be able to enter the park until the Extra Magic Hours are over. But no worries, Trudy, the crowds are still a bit low even after Extra Magic Hours have ended.
I hope this helps you! If you have more questions, please stop by and visit with us again soon.
Happy planning,
Korliss
