Hi there, Kelly, and welcome to planDisney!
Our Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder family is growing, and I couldn't be more excited about the upcoming
return of all tiers of the annual passes. Let's get into how you can get your hands on those coveted keys to the kingdom.
Florida residents have many options when making an
annual pass selection starting on April 20: The Disney Pixie Dust, Disney Pirate, Disney Sorcerer, and Disney Incredi-Pass. Each annual pass type has its own number of
blockout dates and
theme park reservation limits, so be sure to do some research, so you're ready to make your ultimate decision. A couple of my favorite perks are that my family gets free standard theme park parking and fantastic discounts on select food and merchandise. (That means more Minnie Mouse ear headbands for me!)
At the moment, there isn't any official news about exactly what time of day the annual passes will go on sale. However, there is a bit of a clue. On April 13,
Disney Vacation Club members were able to purchase annual passes. If it is any indication of how the April 20 release will go, it will be no earlier than 6 a.m. EST. Although it is not crystal clear, I think it's safe to say that you can continue sleeping even once the clock strikes midnight.
AN EXTRA GEM: And as a Florida resident, Kelly, if you are interested in grabbing an annual pass as soon as possible, the Disney Pixie Dust annual pass is currently available even before April 20. This pass is a great choice if you'd prefer to visit the theme parks on the weekdays only.
I really hope that you get your desired annual pass, Kelly. I'm sending lots of pixie dust your way! If you have any additional questions, feel free to
revisit us here at planDisney!
Magic always,
LeAndra
