What time does the Animal Kingdom River of Lights show start?

    Hi Rebecca!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

Rivers of Light, at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, is a nighttime water and light show that celebrates all living things. The open-air amphitheater is a beautiful venue, and the show is simply gorgeous. My family likes to book the Rivers of Light Dining Package, which includes a delicious dinner at either Tusker House Restaurant or Tiffin's, and premium reserved seating for the show!

Rivers of Light runs on select nights, and the nightly schedule changes throughout the year. For example, for the next few weeks, showtimes are 7:15 and 8:30pm, then will shift to 8:45 and 10:00pm in mid-March. The best way to check showtimes is to visit the Rivers of Light page, and select the little calendar next to "Hours". Select the date you'd like to see the show, and you can see the showtimes for that night. For the most up-to-date schedule during your visit to Walt Disney World Resort, make sure to pick up a Times Guide in the park.

I hope this helps with your planning. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
