Hey, Rhonda!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Figuring out how to travel from place to place within Walt Disney World Resort is what Tiggers like me do best.
The official Disney answer is to budget 90 minutes of travel time within the Resort. We typically budget 60 minutes if we are going from Magic Kingdom Park to anywhere outside of the Magic Kingdom Area Resorts such as Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and 30-45 minutes from all other theme parks. If we know the trip will be short we adjust the time. During our last visit, the travel time from Disney's Coronado Springs Resort to Disney's Hollywood Studios was 10 minutes but the reverse ride was 25 minutes. The bus took a different route. I had budgeted about 30 minutes both ways and had extra time on the outbound trip.
Most Table Service restaurants in the theme parks will take you as is while the Resort hotels restaurants may require a different attire.
Restaurant websites will give you information on attire if applicable. For example,
Victoria and Albert's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has a strict dress code.
Disney Dad Tip: I love using www.ourlaughingplace.com’s Transportation Wizard. It is located in the top right corner of their website. You can put in any two destinations and the Transportation Wizard will give you, if applicable, several options to get from place to place as well as the transportation time.
Rhonda, enjoy making many Magical Memories!
