How much time should we allow for table-service dinner at MK? Going 5/27/16, won't be arriving at MK until around 4 pm (only day at MK). Have ADR for Crystal Palace, but considering changing to quick service just to allow more time for attractions?

Hi Sara! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It is so great to hear from you again.

The Crystal Palace has always been a really fun dining experience for my family. The kids absolutely love meeting Tigger and Piglet! We also love that there is such a large variety of food. Meals that are served buffet style are really great for our family because it really takes a lot of the waiting for food to be prepared away. My children also love that they have their own special buffet style that serves up some of their favorite “kid food” as they call it! I typically leave approximately 60-90 minutes for table service meals, especially when they involve character dining. I always want to make sure that we can meet all of the characters and we never want to rush through dinner.

I looked ahead to Magic Kingdom Park Hours for May, 27, 2016. As of right now the Theme Park is open until 9:00 P.M.  Since you do not plan on arriving to Magic Kingdom until 4:00 P.M. personally as much as I love The Crystal Palace, I would probably opt for a quick service meal instead of a table service meal. Arriving so late in the day only allows you for approximately five hours of park time and I know that my family prefers to experience all of the attractions and entertainment instead of a character meal!

My best suggestion to you would be to really sit down with your family and talk about what is most important to all of you! Coming together and making this decision will help to make everyone happy!

I hope that you have a magical time!
