Hey there Rachel, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! There are so many ways to get around the Walt Disney World Resort. Let's hit the road (and the waterways) and help you get to all those magical destinations!
Getting to the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue from the Magic Kingdom Park is easier than skippin' rocks. Just head to the boat launches right outside the Park entrance and look for the one bound for Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. Actual travel time should be about 20 minutes or so, but I'd build in extra time in case you have to wait for the next boat. Let's plan on being at the dock no later than 45 minutes before you need to check in for the show.
Disney's Art of Animation Resort is a great central location for your journeys around Walt Disney World. If you're hitting the road in your own set of wheels, you should be able to access most of the Parks within about 10-15 minutes or so.
At the moment, there's no walkway between Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, so just hop on a monorail or a boat launch, then sit back and let them whisk you to your destination.
Rachel, on the days you drive, you might want to consider
Preferred parking. Of course, you can park for free at the Theme Parks as a Resort hotel Guest, but upgrading to Preferred parking helps you get to the fun faster. And once you purchase it, you'll have Preferred parking for any other Parks you visit on the same day. It can be a real timesaver!
Have a blast on your travels in and around Walt Disney World, Rachel!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
