    How much time should I allow to go from Magic Kingdom to Chef Mickey's ?

    Hi Laurie,

    Getting to the Contemporary from the Magic Kingdom is very easy and pretty quick!
     
    You have two choices when it comes to transportation in this case. First, you can take the monorail which will drop you off inside the resort, one floor above Chef Mickey's. Your other option would be to use the pedestrian walkway connecting the Magic Kingdom and Contemporary. The walk takes about ten minutes, and once you arrive you will need to take the elevator to the fourth floor to get to the restaurant.

    The monorail route can be much quicker, especially since when you get off all you'll need to do is walk downstairs. Sometimes I have found it faster to walk especially if there is a big crowd of people waiting for the monorail, or if you have just happened to miss the resort monorail.

    Regardless of whether you ride the monorail or walk, I would allow between 20 and 25 minutes to get to the Contemporary. This should leave you with plenty of time to check in for your ADRs a few minutes ahead of time as recommended.
