How much time do you allow between the ending time of your fast past to schedule the next fast past time? If your time is 9 -10, and you get there at 9 approx, how long of a wait do you usually have on a very busy day?

    Hi Erika,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you are busy doing some fantastic planning!

Fast Pass+ simply makes me happy. Even though I know there is complex technology working behind the scenes, it makes our lives so much easier in the parks! I am thrilled that you are thinking carefully before booking your Fast Pass+ selections.

My family rarely arrives at a Fast Pass+ at the very beginning of our time window. We generally arrive about midway through the time window. It typically takes no more than 10 minutes to get through the Fast Pass+ line and on the ride. If we do happen to get to a Fast Pass+ at the beginning of a ride time window, we use the My Disney Experience Mobile App when we get off the ride to see if there is another ride close by that we can ride prior to the next Fast Pass+ selection.

When our girls first figured out how short the wait times are in a Fast Pass+ line, they were ecstatic. Then, they were visibly disappointed when we could only do stand-by - yes, it was a rude awakening. When you pre-book your Fast Pass+ selections, the system has parameters for booking. You cannot double-book a time. In essence, Fast Pass+ times cannot overlap. Generally my family does Fast Pass+ reservations 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 am., 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and then for a time after lunch.

Although we know how this works, we still inevitably find ourselves hustling through the park to not miss a Fast Pass+ selection. So, do as I say and not as I do! Allow plenty of time to get to your Fast Pass+ reservations. We have never missed one, but we have been pretty close!

Happy Planning Erika! I hope you have a magical time.
