    How much time should be allotted for counter service, table service and character dining?

    Hi Tara!

         I just love eating meals in Walt Disney World!  I just got home from a Walt Disney World vacation where I ate at Counter Service, Table Service and Character Dining so I have a fresh take on the answer to your question!  Based on my experience, I have found that Counter Service (Quick Service) meals typically take 20 to 30 minutes depending on how fast you eat.  For Table Service and Character Dining, I have experienced that they take on average of 90 minutes to 120 minutes.  Character Dining maybe a bit quicker than a Table Service meal if the Character Dining is buffet style because the food is already made and all you have to do is get it.  If you plan for 2 hours for Table Service meals, then you will have allotted enough time in your schedule or plan.
