Hello, Stella!
Thank you for joining us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I love your question because it means you're a super planner like us! Welcome home, fellow planner!
Planning a schedule for a Theme Park is indeed a fun task, and there are many variables to consider. One of the variables you can plan ahead for is walking time, and your best partner to do that is probably Google Maps.
I would also advise you to build your plan
combining attractions that are close to each other. By doing so, you can maximize your time and enjoy the Theme Parks much more!
The
My Disney Experience app is going to be your best friend to help you calculate your queuing time. It provides Guests with real-time queue estimates so that you can consider approximate wait times on your plans.
You can start checking those estimates for all
4 Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks today, as you don't need to be there to access the app and start dreaming.
Finally, it's essential to consider that some attractions take longer than others.
The Barnstormer, at
Magic Kingdom Park, for example, is a short and intense attraction, lasting no longer than 90 seconds.
The inspiring
Kilimanjaro Safaris, at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, on the other hand, is one of the lengthiest attractions at the Walt Disney World Resort, lasting for an average of 20 minutes. It's also one of my favorites!
I hope that these tips help you plan for the most amazingly well-timed days ever, Stella! If more questions pop up before December, please, come back so that we can help you further. It's always a pleasure to share advice!
May the magic be with you,
Julie
