    If we want to time an ADR for viewing Illuminations, what time should we be looking for? We were considering Hacienda, but maybe another place would be better??

    Hi Karen!

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a very good question! I really love IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, and always time my dining reservations to watch this beautiful nighttime spectacular.

    The show is usually at 9:00 p.m., so I make reservations between 6:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Since I prefer to watch the show outside, some of my favorite locations around the World Showcase to have dinner are Teppan Edo, Biergarten Restaurant, Chefs de France, and Monsieur Paul. After our dining experience we go outside and find a nice spot around the lagoon to watch IlluniNations: Reflections of Earth. However, if you are planning on watching the fireworks from inside a restaurant, then I recommend making reservations at around 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at La Hacienda de San Angel. This beautiful waterfront restaurant has tall windows overlooking the lagoon, so it is a great location for a perfect evening. Let Cast Members know that you would like to be seated near the windows upon arrival, but please note that this is not guaranteed.

    Karen, if you are looking for VIP views of the fireworks, may I recommend Frozen Ever After Dessert Party at Epcot World Showcase? You will participate in a delicious party filled with delightful desserts while enjoying the beautiful show, and later you will be escorted to ride Frozen Ever After and enjoy an amazing boat ride through the kingdom of Arendelle.
