Hi Brianna!
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy you stopped by with this question as it tugs at my nostalgic heartstrings! I remember making a
Leave A Legacy tile with my parents on a vacation that seems like it was yesterday, but I guess was almost a quarter of a century ago. . .WOW! You'll be happy to know these little pieces of Disney history are still available to view. In fact, I take my kids to find my tile on each trip! While they may roll their eyes a bit at my walk down memory lane, it's always a special moment for me.
Brianna, when the entrance to
EPCOT was being reimagined, the
tiles were moved from their original location to just outside the entrance of the park, not far from the monorail station. The tile walls are brightly colored so they are easy to spot! You can scan the QR code on the wall or type the
website into your browser to find your tile. You'll need to know some basic information to find it, but it's a pretty easy process. You'll be given information about which panel, row, and column to find your exact tile. Pretty cool, huh?
As Walt Disney imagined this Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, he shared the sentiment that it "will never be completed, but will always be introducing." That perfectly describes the evolution of EPCOT over the last few years. If you haven't visited recently, you'll want to check out all that the park has to offer including familiar favorites side by side with newer attractions like
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana. I was really excited to see
Figment get his own character meet-and-greet last year as I've grown up loving his hijinx in the Imagination Pavillion. EPCOT is also accessible now via the
Disney Skyliner from select resorts in the
Disney Resorts Collection.
Brianna, I hope you are able to also enjoy a walk down memory lane on your next visit to EPCOT and locate that special Leave A Legacy tile! Please stop by and see me or any of my pals again here at planDisney if you have any other questions - we're all ears!
Cheers,
Kristi
