I am on a very tight budget, I would like to surprise my niece and nephew and take them to WDW, for one day arriving on Friday and leaving on Sunday, do you think that one day at WDW is possible?

    Hi Linda,

What a wonderful surprise!  I absolutely think that one day at Walt Disney World is possible.  You may not experience everything, but you know what....your niece and nephew will have this memory to cherish forever!  You could probably simply just walk through the park, grab and Mickey Ice Cream Bar and their weekend would be perfect.

I would tackle the weekend with the notion that you can sleep the following weekend.  Be sure to get up early and take advantage of any Extra Magic Hours offered.  It will be a whirlwind, but it will be worth it.

There are a lot of money saving tips in the budgeting section, so be sure to browse through.  My biggest tip is to bring your own snacks and water.  I always pack a bag with the small bags of chips, water and other snacks that will otherwise cost a fortune in the parks.  I also bring my own glow sticks and necklaces to avoid the impulse purchases in the evening.

I hope this helps, have a fantastic time!
