We are on a tight budget and not sure we can make Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party. If we aren't able to attend, would we still be able to view the castle lit up with lights or do they only light it on the nights of the party?

    Hi Carrie!

One of my favorite things about visiting Walt Disney World during the holidays is seeing Cinderella's Castle lit up at night.  It is beautiful on it's own, but to see the bright lights with Christmas around the corner gives me the warm and fuzzies.  Cinderella's Castle is lit up every night during the holidays and not just at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, so you will not have to miss this gorgeous sight.  Here's a fun video on the Disney Parks Blog about how they transform the castle during Christmastime.

    Have a magical day!
