    what are tiers for tickets?

Hi there, Sandra! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your excellent question. I'm glad to hear you'll be traveling to the "Merriest Place on Earth" soon!

A few years ago, Disneyland Resort implemented price tiers for 1-day theme park tickets (they do not apply to multi-day admission). The slower times, which are mid-week during the school year, will be lower in price (Tier 1), and the weekends and holidays are higher in price (Tier 6). But you do not have to worry about what tier to select; the system will choose it for you when you pick the day you want to visit. To make things even more convenient, your park reservations are booked at the same time. Just like magic...Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo! There are also add-ons to your ticket that you can include at check out, such as Disney Genie+ Service and the Park Hopper option.

The holiday season is right around the corner, Sandra! Visit the Disney Parks Blog for details on all the seasonal happenings at Disneyland Resort. And don't miss the Disneyland Resort hotels. The annual gingerbread house display at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is a sight to see!
