I have tier tickets for Feb 7th, but we can't go that date and later dates require a different kind of ticket, how can I upgrade and use the value of the original tickets for a later date in February?

Greetings and welcome to planDisney, Michael. We're so glad you're here to share this question with us. Oh boy! Your visit to the Disneyland Resort will be here before you know it, so let's make sure you're all set with your tickets.

One of the things I love about Disneyland Resort theme park tickets is the flexibility that is built into them. The great news is that wholly unused theme park tickets (excluding special event tickets) can be upgraded with the value applied toward the purchase of a new ticket that is equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket. To do this, you can reach out to a friendly Cast Member at the Tickets phone line for assistance. Before calling, make sure to check the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to ensure your new visit date is available. You may also need to rebook your theme park reservation for your new date. Be sure to check with the Cast Member.

Did you hear the great news, Michael? The "Magic Happens" Parade will be returning on February 2nd. If you didn't get a chance to see this fabulous parade last year, I highly recommend making time to see it during your visit. The Sword in the Stone float is my favorite. Merlin is a vibe. Be sure to check the Disneyland app for showtimes.

Michael, I hope this is helpful and gets you one step closer to securing tickets for your new magical visit date. Here's wishing you the best Disney day at the Happiest Place on Earth!
