    When will tier one seating for the lion king show in April be open?

    Hi, James!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Simba just can't wait to be king, and you just can't wait to make your reservations for the Festival of the Lion King Signature Dining Package - Tier I.  However, you might have to wait just a bit longer.  Typically, reservations for dining packages open for booking as the show schedules are confirmed.  Often, this happens three months in advance, but that time frame is not set in stone.  I would advise that you check the Walt Disney World website often to see when reservations are being accepted for April.

    Festival of the Lion King is one of my favorite shows in all of Walt Disney World!  I love to watch the Tumble Monkeys perform their tricks, and hearing "Circle of Life" always gives me goosebumps.  The Festival of the Lion King Signature Dining Package - Tier I combines VIP seating for this highly entertaining show with a safari tour and a delicious meal at Tiffin's.

    While you are visiting Disney's Animal Kingdom, you may also want to check out the new Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party.  This fun event is sure to leave you with no worries for the rest of your days!
