If a tier 1 FP+ selection isn’t made, can 3 tier 2 picks be made? If not, will only having 2 pre-planned FP+ selections affect getting more @ Park? Grandma in our group doesn’t want to do most rides but is really looking forward to shows & fireworks

    Hi Lisa,

It makes my heart so happy to hear that you'll be traveling to "The Most Magical Place on Earth" with multiple generations. There's something so special about Mouseketeers of ALL ages coming together to experience the magic, and I just know that you'll all create memories on this trip that you'll cherish for years to come.

I'm happy to let you know that if your Grandma doesn't want to experience any of the Tier 1 attractions at Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, or Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, it's completely fine if she makes her FastPass+ selections for three Tier 2 attractions. While you can't have more than one Tier 1 FastPass+ among your original three selections, you're not required to have one. If she's a fan of entertaining shows and incredible fireworks displays, she's in for a TREAT, and she should definitely choose FastPass+ selections for those experiences that will make her Disney dreams come true. Once those initial three selections have been enjoyed, regardless of their Tier, you'll be able to use the My Disney Experience mobile app or an in-park kiosk to make additional selections, one at a time, pending availability, until the theme parks close for the day.

Thanks so much for visiting us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lisa, and please feel free to keep your great questions coming. I hope that you and your entire family have a truly magical vacation!
