The tier for the 15th at disneyland is teir 2. So do I have to buy that tier level ticket or higher to visit the park on that day?

Hello there, Kristal! Welcome to planDisney. We love helping Guests get the answers to all of their planning questions.

It sounds like you are hoping to make a last-minute trip to Disneyland Resort for the day very soon and I think you've got a great idea. You are correct that August 15, 2023, is a Tier 2 ticket day and that means that any ticket Tier 2 or higher will be able to be used that day for entrance to the parks. Don't forget that you will also need to make a theme park ticket reservation for that day and for the park you are wanting to visit along with your ticket for entry into the parks. If you have already purchased your ticket, you can log into your Disney account and make a theme park ticket reservation. If you haven't purchased your ticket yet and purchase it through the Disneyland website or Disneyland app you will pick your date and park during the purchase process and it will make your theme park ticket reservation for you once you have purchased the ticket.

Be sure to download the Disneyland app ahead of time! You will be able to link your ticket through the app so that you can scan it easily at the park entrance. You also will be able to purchase and use Disney Genie+ if you are thinking about adding on that service to your ticket. Be sure to check out mobile ordering, which is my favorite feature of in the app!

Kristal, thanks so much for stopping by. See you real soon!
