    What is a tier 4

    Hi Kelly!

Welcome BACK to the happiest question and answer panel on Earth! It's so good to see your name pop back up hEAR in our system, and this time asking about planning a vacation to Walt's original theme park! I'm happy to be your planEAR today.

This is a great question. 1-Day Theme Park Admission Tickets to Disneyland Resort, both 1-park-per-day as well as those with the Park Hopper option add-on, are priced at one of six tiers; the tiers all depend on the day of the week, the season of the year, etc. If something happens to your plans and you need to shift your Disney day around a bit, your 1-day tickets can be used on another day that matches the same level of tier that you purchased, or any tier under that. In your case, Kelly, hEARs a link to a list of all of the dates that a Tier 4 ticket would be valid, which includes all tier 1, 2, and 3 dates as well. Tiered single-day tickets can be upgraded to both higher tier days as well as to multi-day tickets, however, to do so you'll need to call the helpful Cast Members at the Disneyland Ticket helpline as this cannot be done in the app. Their phone number is (714) 781-4636. (If you're interested in upgrading you'll want to call as soon as possible and you'll need to make new Park Pass Reservations, which do tend to fill up in the 30 days before each Disney day.)

I hope that you're starting to get excited about your upcoming visit to Mickey's SoCal house, Kelly! Be sure to follow the official planDisney Instagram account for even more tips and tricks. We even just launched the brand new planDisney Podcast! And if you have any more Disneyland Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
