We have tickets/basic meal plan for 3 days at WDW. Do we have to go to a sit down meal each day or can we just get two quick service meals each day? If we do that, will they use table service credit or not? Very confused on the whole dining plan thing.

Hi, Mary Ann!   The Disney Dining Plan sounds confusing at first, but it really is quite simple.   For each night of your stay, each member of your party will get one snack, one table service credit, and one quick service credit.      You can use these however you want, so if one day you want to do a buffet for breakfast (1 TS credit) and a nice sit-down meal for dinner (1 TS credit) that is fine!  Then perhaps the next day you want to use only your quick service credits - that works out!   You cannot trade table service credits for quick service.

If you think you would prefer to have only Quick Service Meals, you can switch to theQuick Service Plan.   Read through the details of each and see what will suit your family's needs the best.

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is sailing with Disney Cruise Line, running (or cheering!) at runDisney events, taking hula lessons at Aulani, or vacationing at the Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. I am proud to be a part of the planDisney team and cannot wait to share my tips and advice for a magical vacation
