Hey there, Tijonna!
Thank you so much for thinking of planDisney with your question about theme park tickets for 6-year-olds. It's so exciting to see you're planning a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort.
The answer to your question -- "How much are tickets for 6-year-olds?" -- will depend on your unique vacation plans. The good news I can share is that Walt Disney World Resort makes it super easy to find current theme park ticket pricing based on those personal vacation plans.
What you want to keep in mind is that Walt Disney World Resort
uses a date-based pricing system for its theme park admission tickets. This means that theme park admission for Guests can vary in price depending on the month and the days of the week you are visiting the theme parks. Theme park admission for Guests can also vary depending on how many days you will be visiting the theme parks, and depending on the ticket options you add such as the Park Hopper Plus Option.
When you look at the
Tickets & Visit Guide or the
"Your Ticket to the Magic!" pages on the Walt Disney World Resort website, you'll see current ticket pricing information, and by default the ticket prices displayed will be for Guests ages 10 and older. With a few quick clicks, you can see current ticket pricing for Guests ages 3-9.
You can simply start by
selecting the number of days you plan to visit the theme parks, choosing the ticket type you'd like, and using the interactive calendar to pick the date you first plan to visit a theme park. When you are asked to select the number of tickets you want to purchase, you'll see the theme park ticket prices displayed for Guests ages 10+ and for Guests ages 3-9. What you'll notice when you view the "Choose the Day You Will Visit" calendar is that prices can vary depending on the week of the month and the day of the week.
So, looking at the month of April as an example, the current price for a 1-Day Ticket with Admission to 1 Park Per Day for a Guest age 3-9 can range from $110 per ticket to $135 per ticket.
When you are purchasing theme park tickets, you'll want to look at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to check that the theme park you want to visit has availability for that day, and you'll want to make your theme park reservation.
In addition to purchasing tickets on the Walt Disney World Resort website, you can easily purchase tickets through the
My Disney Experience mobile app. You can also contact Walt Disney World Resort directly by calling (407) 939-7679.
Tijonna, I hope you find this information helpful as you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort. When you have any questions as you make your plans, please be sure to ask us here at planDisney. We're happy to help!
