I have tickets for Wednesday, 6/30 at Disneyland. I recently sustained an injury to my leg and have to wear a camboot. I have temporary disability tags. Can I reserve a “rascal“. I know these are first come first serve but hoped to reserve one.

    Hello, K!

Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for bringing us your Disneyland Resort question. I’m sorry to hear you were injured, but I’m confident your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth can be just as pixie-dusted as before!

Yes, Electric Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) rentals are available at the Disneyland Resort. These ECVs are single-rider, 4-wheel vehicles for Guests with mobility challenges to use throughout Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. It’s best to arrive early if you plan to rent one, because only a limited number of wheelchairs and ECVs are available on a first-come, first-served basis and can't be reserved in advance.

Since you know you will need a mobility aid, you might want to consider renting one via an outside company to ensure it will be available upon your arrival and for the length of your stay. ScooterBug, a private mobility rental company in the Anaheim area, can provide ECV rentals for Guests staying at one of the three Disneyland Resort hotels. Pre-orders and deliveries of mobility rentals to the resort hotels can be arranged by visiting ScooterBug.com/Anaheim or by calling (800) 726-8284.

I hope this information helps, K, and that you have a practically perfect day at the resort! Please don’t hesitate to visit us again with more questions.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
