Tickets valid Tuesday, January 17, 2023 or after. What does this mean? Do I have to use it on the 17th or can I wait till the 26-27 to use my tickets

Hello there, Joseph! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for taking the time to drop by with a question.

A January trip to Disneyland Resort is a great way to kick off the new year! I cannot be sure of the validity of your tickets since I don't quite know exactly what ticket type they are. A standard ticket is available on the days matching its tier or any day below if it's a single-day ticket. The wording "or after" makes it sound like you would be able to use this ticket after January 17, 2023, but again I cannot be sure. What I would recommend doing is linking the tickets to your Disney account and then trying to make theme park ticket reservations for a date you are looking for. That should let you know when you can use the ticket.

If you are heading to the parks and have not yet downloaded the Disneyland app, I recommend doing that now. It will be a very useful tool on your visit and you can also use it to link your tickets. Once you've downloaded the app, sign into or create a Disney account. Next, tap the three horizontal lines on the menu at the bottom of the screen. Then you will want to tap on "Tickets and Passes". The "+" at the top right is where you will be able to link the tickets either by barcode or by Ticket ID numbers located on your tickets. Now your tickets will be ready in the app for you to scan in at the park entrance.

To make a theme park ticket reservation, which is also required for theme park entry, tap on the "+" at the bottom of the screen. Next, tap "Make a Park Reservation" and then "Make Park Reservations" on the next screen. Now you will select the tickets you are wanting to make reservations for and a calendar will show the dates and parks available for these tickets. Follow the prompts to make your selections and confirm your reservations. This hopefully will show you you're able to visit after January 17th and now you should be ready to visit!

If you are having trouble making reservations or linking your tickets, I suggest chatting through the Disneyland app or reaching out to Guest Services to speak with a Cast Member who would be able to better assist you with your tickets.

Joesph, thanks again for stopping by. Be sure to visit us again with any other questions you have!
