I have tickets for two seperate dates for my family of 4 but they are not in order in the Disneyland mobile app. Is there a way to change this so I don’t muck the Oder up when I enter the park?

    Hi Fiona,

Thank you for coming to planDisney with your question. It sounds like you have an amazing vacation coming up. It also sounds like you are taking the lead on this family vacation. Well, call me Frozone, because I am here to back you up! I was able to speak to a helpful Cast Member and they let me know that, unfortunately, there is no way to change the order in which the tickets show up. I understand your desire to reduce confusion and error as much as possible. Don’t let this dampen your spirit. I have some tips that will make you your family’s super hero.

Currently, when you first scan into the park, the Cast Member at the turnstile will need to take each person’s picture and link it to their ticket. So as one person’s photo is being taken, you can queue up the next ticket. The Cast Member I spoke to reminded me that the tickets should appear in alphabetical order by last name, and then by first name. Double check your app to make sure that is the case. Use this info as a tool to help you get your family in order quickly. You will muck it up or slow things down. You got this!

Ticket Tip: If your family plans on getting Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you may want to consider getting everyone their own MagicBand +. You can link your park ticket to a MagicBand+ and it will allow you to navigate the park smoothly. I got one for my little one and myself. It saves me from constantly fumbling with my phone at the entrance, when we take photos, or when I use my Lightning Lane reservations. They can also be a cool souvenir for each family member.

I hope this information is helpful, Fiona. Tap into your inner Edna Mode and confront this task with confidence! Please feel free to write back to me or my fellow panelist if you have any more questions as you plan your upcoming trips.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
