I have tickets for two parks,MK as the first one, but I haven’t decided on the second. I was thinking about AK, but my daughter isn’t very interested in animals. I also considered Hollywood Studios for Toy Story and Mickey, She loves music. Reccomendations

Hi there, Jocelyn, and welcome back to planDisney!

Before we dive into all of the cool options that you have with your daughter, I must say that this is an amazing dilemma to have. All of the theme parks at Disney World have something that even the tiniest of Mouseketeers can enjoy. Let's get right into it!

Let's start with the pros of going to Animal Kingdom. Your daughter may like visiting the beautiful world of Pandora. The floating mountains are a sight to be seen and she'll like the Na'vi River Journey's rhythmic sounds and singing. Animal Kingdom has two of the best musical productions in all of Disney World: Festival of the Lion King and Finding Nemo: Big, Blue...and Beyond shows. The acting, stories, and music are so good! (Take it from me, I'm a theatre teacher.) In addition to all of that, there are a lot of street performances around the park where Guests are encouraged to move along to the beat.

Now, on to Hollywood Studios: The Frozen Sing-Along Celebration is a funny and endearing retelling of the movie's story. The singing is fantastic, but your daughter will especially love it if she is a fan of Anna and Elsa. In Toy Story Land, you may find the Green Army Drum Corps marching around Andy's Backyard. The rides there are my boys' favorites in all of Disney World. I have to mention the classic Beauty and the Beast musical and the nearby nighttime Fantasmic! show (swoon!).

Overall, either theme park will be practically perfect for your daughter. But after looking at all of my recommendations to you, I'd give the win to Animal Kingdom. The only caveat is that if she really wants to see Toy Story characters and ride Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway at Hollywood Studios. Those would be the reasons to tilt the scales in that park's favor.

AN EXTRA GEM: I know that EPCOT wasn't one of your considerations, but if you are visiting soon, the Food & Wine Festival is going on and your daughter may like experiences like the Eat to the Beat concerts and the Ratatouille Hide & Squeak scavenger hunt. I can't forget to mention that the ¡Celebración Encanto! show is so much fun for kiddos. If she likes that movie's music and characters, she will have a ball because of the big energy and open dance space!

Jocelyn, I hope that this answer gives you some peace of mind. If you have any additional questions about your upcoming trip, please give us a holler here at planDisney.

    Magic always,
