Greeting, Holly, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It’s great to see you hEAR again!
I’m so excited for you to experience the magic of
Disneyland After Dark: Sweethearts’ Nite, coming to
Disneyland Park on February 12 and 13, 2020! Get ready to experience
the ultimate date night at the Happiest Place on Earth! This
special event sounds like the perfect way to kick off your vacation at the
Disneyland Resort.
Not to worry, Holly, your tickets to Sweethearts’ Nite will be clearly marked for the special event, so you shouldn’t have to worry about using a different ticket on mistake. You’ll also nab an event wristband after entering the park, so Cast Members will know that you’re allowed to remain in the park even after it officially closes to non-event Guests. Feel free to go ahead and load all of your theme-park tickets into the
Disneyland app to keep them handy, and just be sure to read the description on each ticket to know exactly what each ticket is for. With your event ticket, you’ll be allowed to enter Disneyland Park as early as 6:00 PM on February 12. The event officially begins at 9:00 PM, which is when non-event Guests will be asked to start exiting. Typically, the
Disneyland After Dark events don’t include
Disney FASTPASS selections, which isn’t usually a problem, since the lines are so much shorter to begin with. However, you'll be able to make complimentary FASTPASS selections in the park within the mix-in hours before the event begins, from 6:00 PM-9:00 PM.
Your event ticket also includes unlimited digital downloads of your
Disney PhotoPass photos taken during the event, which is awesome, because there are so many special photo opportunities available! Look out for romantic photo spots featuring sweet scenes from iconic Disney films.
Your enchanting night will be full of pixie-dusted moments, from love song-themed dance parties throughout the park, to a glitzy royal ball! Look out for our favorite Disney couples, too, including Aladdin and Jasmine, Cinderella and Prince Charming, and of course, Mickey and Minnie Mouse! There will also be special décor, food, and merchandise offerings available, so get ready for a night full of romance and fun!
I was lucky enough to attend several Disneyland After Dark events last year, including 90s Nite, which was a blast! My dear friend and fellow Panelist,
Kristen N. and I loved the 90s jams blaring throughout the park as we hit up our favorite attractions!
Don’t miss these other Disneyland After Dark events headed to the Disneyland Resort in 2020:
Disneyland After Dark: 80s Nite – January 29, 2020
Disneyland After Dark: PIXAR Nite – March 5, 2020

Wishing you a vacation filled with pixie dust, romance, and magic, Holly!
