Hello, I have tickets for Star Wars night on May 1 and I was able to get a reservation for building a lightsaber at 610. We can't enter the park until 6pm. Is there anyway I would be able to enter the park at 530 so I can make my reservation?

Bright Suns, Katherine, and welcome to planDisney! Thank you for stopping by with this great question about Star Wars Nite! I'm thrilled you were able to snag tickets to this after-hours party, as you are truly in for magic far, far beyond your imagination!

Guests who have a ticket to this galactic event (you!) are allowed into Disneyland Park as early as 6pm, and you will not be able to check-in until that time. However, I recommend arriving at the Main Gates of Disneyland Park by at least 5:15pm, if not earlier, to get a spot in line, so you'll be ready to complete your mission at Savi's Workshop as soon as entry is allowed.

Katherine, once your lightsaber is complete and you're ready to embark on new adventures, I suggest attending a demonstration of lightsaber skills at Fantasyland Theatre to learn how to wield your lightsaber from elite instructors. They're incredible and so fun to watch! Then, make sure to bring your new lightsaber over to the Millennium Falcon for A Gathering of the Resistance with Rey and what will be a highlight of your evening, I'm sure! Check the Guide Map you'll receive upon entering the event for times and details.

And don't forget, Katherine, you'll receive unlimited downloads of Disney PhotoPass digital photos taken during the party, including a Lightsaber Photo Op! Scan the QR code on your event wristband into the Disneyland app to access Disney PhotoPass digital photos captured during the event.

Well, Katherine, may the Force be with you during your after-hours extravaganza! I hope you have the most magical night. If you think of anything else you'd like to chat about, stop on by anytime! I'd love to share more tips and recommendations as you race through the galaxy, dodging TIE fighters on Hyperspace Mountain during Season of the Force. It's the absolute best.

    Magic awaits,
    McCayla

Meet the Panelist: McCayla, Washington

Hello from the Pacific Northwest! I'm McCayla, a wife and mom dreaming of adventure in the great wide somewhere, yet also completely content watching Toy Story from the couch. My love of Disneyland began as a little girl on Peter Pan's Flight and only grows with each visit. But even when I'm not physically at the Happiest Place on Earth, I truly feel that same joy when I can help others (YOU!) experience the magic of Disneyland Resort too.
