Zytal from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I have my tickets scheduled for the 18th but want to change it to the 5th. Will I get a refund for the 18th if I cancel it? Or does it turn into Disney credit that I can apply to the 5th?

    Hi Zytal,

Welcome to planDisney! Due to the high volume of questions we receive daily, our sincere apologies for not being able to get to your answer prior to your initial travel date. Zytal, I’m happy to report that even if you canceled your theme park reservation for December 18th, please rest assured that your tickets will remain valid until their expiration date and you’ll be able to make another theme park reservation for a later visit.

When you’re ready to rebook your theme park reservations, be sure to check out the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to see if the new date is available. The calendar is open for Guests to make reservations up to 120 days in advance. As long as there is availability on January 5th and your ticket tier allows for booking that day, you’ll be able to make your theme park reservation. As you continue to plan your visit, don’t forget to visit the Disney Parks Blog and Disneyland.com for the latest park news.

If you have more trip-planning questions, please don’t hesitate to visit us again on planDisney.

    See ya real soon,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
