I have tickets with my room. How do I assign the days/parks? I would like to connect with my daughter and I'm having trouble with that as well.

Hello, Kathy and welcome to planDisney where we are happier than Moana on the sea to help in your vacation planning.

Kathy, it sounds like you’re already well on your way to a Magical trip since you have your vacation package booked. How exciting! Now, let’s make sure you can make your Disney Park Pass reservations and connect with your daughter. The first step is to link your vacation package to your My Disney Experience account. If you haven’t yet created an account, you can quickly do so HERE. You’ll then link your reservation confirmation number under the heading of “My Plans.”

You should then be able to see your Disney Resorts Collection hotel stay each time you log-in or use the My Disney Experience Mobile App. Next, you’ll want to connect your My Disney Experience account to your daughter’s. If she is listed as a guest in your hotel room, she’ll enter the same reservation confirmation number in her account. Next, visit the “Family & Friends” tab and you’ll see an option to add a guest. Since you both will have entered the same reservation confirmation number, her name should pop up to add, but if it does not, you can manually add her by following the prompts. She’ll then get a notification to accept the connection and… you’re ready to plan!

Kathy, once you and your daughter both can see the other through the “Family & Friends” tab of your My Disney Experience account you can begin making your complimentary theme park reservations. In your account if you hover over the bold “My Disney Experience” on the far right you’ll see an option for “Disney Park Pass Reservations.” By clicking on that tab you will be able to select the date, park and other guests to make a reservation. Once your reservation is confirmed you will see your Disney Park Pass under the “My Plans” section.

Kathy, I hope this helps as you’re getting ready to enjoy all the Magic a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort has to offer. I’ll be celebrating the 50th anniversary very soon and can’t wait to experience all of the fanfare.

Best wishes for a pixie dusted stay and please come on back to planDisney with any other questions.
