Heigh-ho Ivan, it's off to Walt Disney World you go!
Oh my gooseberry pie, your magical vacation is just a couple of days away! You must be whistling while you work all day long in anticipation.
I'm sorry one member of your group won't be part of the fun of your upcoming trip, but it sounds like you've already got someone lined up to join. You won't have any problems transferring a wholly unused
theme park ticket to a new person in your party. Here's what you'll need to do.
Let's say your ticket was originally assigned to Doc, but he's received an important medical mission, so his pal Dopey will be taking his spot on vacation. First, you'll need to add Dopey to your
My Family & Friends List in
My Disney Experience. If Dopey already has his own account, you can invite him to connect via e-mail, or if you'll be managing his plans, you can just add him to your list.
Once you are connected, go to the "My Plans" section of My Disney Experience and click on "Tickets & Memory Maker." To the right of Doc's name, there should be an option to "Reassign Ticket." Click here, and use the dropdown menu to select Dopey's name. As soon as you confirm the change, Dopey will be the new owner of Doc's theme park ticket! Don't forget to make
theme park reservations for Dopey; they won't automatically transfer during the ticket exchange.
I hope this is helpful, Ivan. If you encounter and problems or poison apples,
give the friendly folks at My Disney Experience a call at (407) 939-4357 and they'll find the antidote. Best wishes for a fabulous vacation, and have a magical day!
