Hi friend! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
Sometimes life gets in the way of our best plans and we're not able to visit when we'd hoped to, which can be very disappointing. I've gone through this with my family, so I can understand the frustration. According to the terms of sale,
admission tickets are non-refundable. I'm sorry if that's not the news you were hoping for today, but I do have good news for you: You can make new
theme park reservations with unused tickets for another trip. I can walk you through how to modify an existing reservation.
On the Disneyland Resort website, hover over "My Disneyland" on the top right side of the page. Click on "Ticket and Reservation Details" and scroll down to the "Make or Modify Park Reservations" button to begin making your new reservations. You can select from any eligible, open day and park.
Disneyland Resort standard admission tickets retain their value even after they expire, which gives the Guest a lot of flexibility. So, if you can't make new reservations for another trip with your remaining tickets before their expiration, you'll still be able to apply their value toward the purchase of new tickets at a later date in the future. My family has done this with tickets we weren't able to use before they expired. Prices and terms are subject to change. Should this happen, you can call the
Tickets phone line to begin the transaction. You'll need to pay the difference, so having a method of payment handy at the time of your call is a good idea.
As you're planning for this visit or the next, follow the
Disney Parks Blog, which is the official source for all parks news. There will be returning favorites this year like Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, as well as new surprises to explore. There's plenty to do during multiple visits!
Have a magical day.
