Hi Mike,
Welcome to planDisney! Your Disneyland Resort trip is right around the corner—I’m sure you’re happier than Olaf in summer! You definitely want everything in order as your trip draws near, so let me help with making sure your tickets transfer properly.
If you are using a third-party account like Google Wallet or Apple Pay, your passes and tickets are also connected to your Google account or Apple ID. They should transfer over once you download those apps and sign in to your account. If you’re transferring from an Apple device to an Android (or vice versa), that transfer can usually take place as long as you sign into the same account. If you’re using another method of storing your ticket, I recommend reaching out to your cell phone carrier for more specific guidance.
That said, I highly recommend using the
Disneyland mobile app to access your tickets. Tickets are easily transferable because they’re associated with your MyDisney account—not your phone. Just download the Disneyland app again, and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo, your tickets will be there! Click the three bars at the bottom right and go to the section labeled “My Tickets & Passes.” Your reservations will also be viewable since those are tied to your account too. When you launch the app, scroll down and you should see your upcoming plans.
Mike, I noticed your trip is taking place during
Season of the Force (which ends May 11). Disneyland will be celebrating Star Wars during this time with special food, merchandise, and entertainment throughout the park. The Disney Parks Blog has released a
Season of the Force Guide and a
Foodie Guide to make sure you don’t miss a thing. Hopefully, you’ll find the lineup impressive—most impressive! I’m especially looking forward to riding
Hyperspace Mountain; the Star Wars overlay is my favorite.
Star Tours will also feature new scenes from Disney+ shows like Ahsoka, Andor, and The Mandalorian. I wonder if you will be identified as a Rebel Spy!
I hope this information was helpful, Mike. If you have any other questions, need additional help, or would love more advice, please feel free to write back to me or any of my fellow panelists—we’d be happy to assist.
Have a wonderful vacation, and may the Force be with you, always.
